What’s all the fuse about Jara?

We are pioneering the Jara lifestyle by serving members the opportunity to always have more for less without any compromise whatsoever. Members of the Jara community are entitled to up to 63% discount & exclusive offers on those things they love the most. Car rides, movies, hotel suites, spas, fashion… you name it, we have it covered!
What is a brand Ambassador?
Today’s brand ambassadors are different, they don’t just pose for the cover of a Jara Card magazine or website, they Tweet about Jara, they host Jara-sponsored events, they author blogs about why they love Jara, post jara related pictures on Instagram, they make guest appearances at Jara events . . . and of course, they use the #GetYourJara hashtag.

While I could talk for hours about Jara, the real intent of this example is to showcase what we expect (and ask) from our brand ambassadors.
Before we get to the part where we spell out our expectations (we’re very particular about them) lets quickly be on the same page on what you all represent
So what exactly is a brand ambassador?
A brand ambassador could be thought of as hybrid between Public Relations officers and Human Resources officers, doing both the tasks of publicizing and educating consumers about a brand and also trying to help them in any way that they could.
They are trusted figures that help instill brand confidence and encourage purchases.

Attributes
Actively participates in a wide variety of social media activities such as blogging, community development and management, social bookmarking, commenting, etc. and is well-connected with the broader social media world
Has an understanding of building influence as an individual as well as for the company by association
Ability to contribute individually, and lead, manage or participate in cross-functional teams
Excellent writing skills and a willingness to use them
Excellent verbal communication skills
Sense of humor and creativity, not required, but a definite nice to have

Responsibilities
Participates and listens to the conversations occurring within the social media community, and responsibly and smartly responds or defers as appropriate.
Uses defined company brand and marketing key words / terms in social networking sites to communicate with customers, partners and industry peers consistently.
Monitors trends on social media and appropriately recommend strategies to us based on monitored observations
Provides input and insight into how to penetrate the company’s messages deeper into social networking communities.
Leads by example on social media rules of engagement and representing the company within social media networks.



Our Expectations
1. Always promote Jara in a good light directly and indirectly. i.e improving and protecting Jara’s reputation
· Directly by always saying the wonderful things the Jara brand is all about and actively helping to get new activations.

· Indirectly by making sure that you portray the best character while wearing or using any of the jara publicity materials. (Tshirts etc.)

2. Helping us Increase our card sales each person will have a sales target

3. We are all about innovation and so will be expecting helpful tips product ideas etc.?

4. To make sure we are being adequately represented by you all, we have established weekly Social Media Targets; divided into. no of Instagram posts, tweets Facebook posts etc all with the jara keyword and #getyourjara
